SASTI-SVG6MU Static Var Generator
The SASTI-SVG6MU detects load current in real time using internal and external CTs. It employs TI DSP and FPGA to analyze reactive current and generate PWM signals to the 3-Level IGBT inverter, producing inductive or capacitive current for reactive power compensation and phase imbalance correction.
Compared to traditional capacitor banks, the SASTI-SVG6MU offers fast response, high compensation accuracy, and avoids under-compensation, over-compensation, and resonance issues.
Modular Design
SASTI-SVG6MU Static Var Generator features an advanced modular design. Typically, it comprises one or several SVG modules and an optional touch LCD Human Machine Interface. Each SVG module functions as an independent, dynamic reactive power compensation system, allowing users to adjust the SVG rating by adding or removing modules.
