What is the RESCO Model?
Sastinadha Solutions is a pioneering company to consider if you’re opting for the RESCO model. Under the RESCO (Renewable Energy Service Company) model, we develop, install, finance, operate, and own the rooftop solar power project, supplying the power generated either directly to the consumer at their premises or to the grid through net-metering.
Zero Upfront Investment
The RESCO model works as a zero-investment solution. Unlike the CAPEX model, it does not require any capital investment to install a solar plant. Here, the consumer only pays for the electricity generated, while the plant is owned by the RESCO developer.
As a consumer, you simply pay a pre-decided monthly tariff that is lower than the grid electricity tariff, without any additional burden of operating or maintaining the solar plant.
Under this model, Sastinadha Solutions handles all responsibilities, including design, procurement, installation, operation, and long-term maintenance.
This allows businesses to adopt clean energy without financial risk, ensuring predictable savings and seamless performance throughout the life of the project.
Seamless O&M (Operations & Maintenance)
Sastinadha Solutions, as a RESCO developer, takes complete ownership to ensure that our professional and trained experts manage the operations and maintenance of the solar plant throughout its lifetime. We work diligently to keep the power generation capacity maximized, ensuring consistent performance and long-term reliability.
Our dedicated O&M team continuously monitors system health, conducts preventive maintenance, and resolves issues promptly to avoid downtime. With remote monitoring, periodic inspections, and performance optimization, we ensure the plant operates at peak efficiency, delivering uninterrupted clean energy and maximum savings for the consumer.
Supported by the Government
The Government has targeted 40 GW of rooftop solar capacity by 2022. To achieve this goal, subsidies of up to 70% are offered to RESCO solar developers in certain special category states. In addition, some state governments are also providing their own premises for the development of solar plants, encouraging faster adoption and growth of renewable energy infrastructure.
